Call for Proposals II Nuit Blanche Toronto 2025 Calling All Artists! Art proposals are now being accepted for Nuit Blanche Toronto 2025 in two programs: the Open Call program, which is open to international and Canadian artists; and the Independent Project program, which is open to Toronto-based artists and collectives.
Deadline: Apply by Friday, December 6, 2024 - 11:59pm EST
Proposals must respond to the 2025 event theme – Translating the City , which invites artists to develop works that translate the landscapes, rhythms, and narratives of Toronto in unique ways. How could the sounds of the city be made visual? What is Toronto trying to communicate? How can we map untold stories? Attention to accessibility is encouraged.
It is strongly recommended that applicants attend a free Accessibility for Public Art Workshop on Monday, November 4 (online). Register for the workshop today.
Nuit Blanche Toronto 2025 will feature three city-produced exhibitions that Open Call program applicants may wish to consider when developing proposals:
Collective Composition – curated by Nuit Blanche Artistic Director Laura Nanni
Poetic Justice – curated by Charlene. K. Lau
From here, there, everywhere – curated by Renata Azevedo Moreira
