What you'll be doing
Reporting into the Director, Digital Sales Planning & Strategy, the
Senior Manager, Digital Sales Planning & Strategy
is accountable for forging strong partnerships with key stakeholders including Customer Marketing and product groups in order to set and achieve aggressive annual digital sales targets for his/her assigned portfolio.
The Senior Manager acts like a business owner by developing and optimizing a game plan that identifies all initiatives that need to occur in order to maintain strong sales performance or close the gap in cases of current or projected under performance.
As such, the Senior Manager leverages data driven insights to identify and prioritize initiatives based on estimated sales impact and return on effort.
The Senior Manager is accountable for effectively presenting a holistic story and actionable recommendations related to the entire digital journey including digital media spend, offers, campaigns, and digital sales capabilities.
The Senior Manager regularly leads executive level discussions and influences the prioritization of digital marketing initiatives delivered by CIBC Digital's Agile Sales & Marketing team.
The Senior Manager possesses a depth of digital marketing experience spanning across organic search, paid digital media, on-site marketing, and digital performance reporting.
As such, the Senior Manager will be accountable for leading a high priority portfolio with high complexity, executive visibility, and large digital media budgets.
A core accountability will include leading digital sales and marketing test & learn initiatives, pilots, and POCs that require executive sponsorship.
As a senior portfolio lead, the Senior Manager will regularly support the Director, Digital Sales Planning & Strategy with overall team development & efficiencies.
On occasion, the Senior Manager will also be accountable for managing co-op students.

How you'll succeed
Results Driven Leadership
– You will partner with product groups, marketing, & fulfillment teams to jointly develop digital sales plans while ensuring alignment on related assumptions, targets, and roadmap initiatives.
Lead regular business reviews to identify progress against digital sales plans including performance of media spend, digital campaigns, offers, and digital client journey optimization.
This will include providing updates on agile sprint schedules,
as well as projects & quick releases that support digital sales capabilities & production fixes.
Client Experience
– The client is at the heart of everything we do.
As the lead for that experience, you will work with various stakeholders across the bank including Customer Marketing, Digital Analytics & Integration, product teams and more acting as a digital product & journey subject matter expert while ensuring overall alignment with your assigned Line Of Business (LOB) partner.
You will possess in-depth knowledge on product features & benefits, client profiles, CIBC digital sales capabilities, cross-channel experiences, and fulfillment flows.
