FirstOnSite is looking for an experienced & hard-working Director of Operations to be part of our growing Corporate team!

Position Summary:

The Director of Operations is to carry out the mission, plans and initiatives as set out by the Senior Management Team in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the company’s strategic plan.

The Director of Operations provides the overall leadership, motivation and management, at the regional level, to positively impact branch operations, estimating, sales, rebuild, administration and maintenance of adequate GP levels. The Director of Operations promotes and implements FirstOnSite standard operating procedures at all levels as the most efficient path to standardization.







Primary Responsibilities:

- Build and manage relationships with partners, team members and customers.
- Lead business development, emergency and construction activities within your district.
- Promote a proactive sales and business development culture in your district.
- Ensures all accounts receivable are collected within the establish guidelines.
- Build, lead and deploy the team with the goal of achieving the objectives of our corporate strategic plan.
- Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed for FirstOnSite personnel and sub-contractors.
- Work closely with the BM and operations management to review branch and district resources and to share resources as required.
- Complete performance reviews.
- Drive performance in branches through employee feedback and follow through by implementing training and development plans.
- Delivers and supervises GP margin targets for the branches.
- Responsible for meeting branch EBITDA targets.

Qualifications & Experience:







- Skilled at planning, directing, supervising and coordinating.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the restoration/emergency industry.
- Proven job related success in a construction management role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- College Diploma in Business Administration or Finance or certification in a recognized trade; or combination of relevant training courses in related fields and relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of the academic requirements.
