Job Duties:
• Deciding which leads to pursue and how to approach them to convert them into customers.
• Determining the best design and equipment to meet customer needs and specifications.
• Selecting equipment, issuing quotations, and ensuring the scope and pricing are competitive and accurate.
• Deciding on strategies to close sales, manage the pipeline, and achieve sales targets.
• Making timely and accurate decisions regarding change notices and accounts receivable issues.
• Recommending the best industrial refrigeration solutions and equipment based on customer needs and specifications.
• Suggesting competitive pricing strategies to ensure the company remains attractive to potential customers.
• Advising on the best approaches to qualify, pursue, and close new leads and accounts.
• Recommending improvements in internal processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in sales and project management.
• Sharing valuable information on customer preferences, competitor activities, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Work to Qualify/Close New Accounts and Leads Generated by Business Development
• Assist in providing preliminary design of industrial refrigeration solutions based on customer’s needs, specifications, applicable codes and company standards
• Building estimates by selecting equipment, issuing quotations, ensuring proper scope and best competitive pricing is obtained by reviewing drawings, specifications and coordinating strategy meetings
• Accurately report on Forecast / Pipeline
• Maintain any existing customer base and cultivate opportunities
• Describe key job function
Skills Required:
• Extensive knowledge of industrial refrigeration design
• Possession of a refrigeration certificate, PE or PMP would be an asset
• Background in Ammonia & CO2 Refrigeration, industrial heat pumps and heat recovery systems
• Ability to read, interpret and prepare mechanical drawings, specifications and schedules
• Strong Computer Skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Customer-service-oriented mindset
• Strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen eye for detail
Experience Required:
• 3-5 years in engineering/technical sales/project management experience in Industrial Refrigeration market
Education Required:
• College or University diploma in engineering or refrigeration or equivalent experience
Wage & Hours: annual base salary of $150,000
• Number of hours per day: 7.5
• Number of days per week: 5
• Number of hours per week: 37.5
