Our public sector client requires a Senior Java Developer to support the implementation of several incident management response initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Write software in a Linux and MS Windows development environment
- Perform programming in Java, Python and JavaScript (React) to develop and transition new or extend existing modules
- Perform UX design activities, including markup and styling (HTML/CSS)
- Perform scripting in Python/Bash as required
- Leverage Gradle and Spring to configure, build and deploy systems and web applications in Spark, AKS, or AirFlow
- Perform SQL commands and Oracle, MySQL database administration, and data migration

Must Have:

- 10+ years experience as a Programmer Analyst






- Experience developing using Java, and JavaScript (React) with relational database backend
- Experience developing using an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) preferably Eclipse or IntelliJ as well as experience with code repositories such as Git
- Experience developing application using Python
- Experience with build automation tools such as Ivy/Maven/Gradle
