Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tanning Salon Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for our clients. As a Salon Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service & sales, maintaining the cleanliness of the salon,
and assisting with various tasks to support the salon's operations. A positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly as they enter the salon, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including workstations, waiting areas, and restrooms.
- Assist with preparing for appointments and managing client flow in a fast paced & high energy environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, addressing client inquiries and scheduling appointments.
- Promote salon products and services to clients, utilizing technology sales skills when necessary.
- Maintain inventory levels of products and supplies, ensuring that all items are stocked appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.
- Provide support in managing client records and appointments using salon management software.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in English
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette to handle client interactions professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience in technology sales or technical sales is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience in a salon or similar environment is preferred and will be fast tracked to interview, but not mandatory.
