Job Description: Long Haul Truck Driver ( Toronto to Montreal )
Position: Long Haul Truck Driver
Location: Toronto
Company: Linehaul Canada
Compensation: $0.58 per mile, plus additional compensation for waiting time and live unloads
Overview:
Linehaul Canada is seeking a dedicated Long Haul Truck Driver to transport goods between Toronto and Montreal. This role requires a reliable driver who is committed to safety and efficiency, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain a commercial truck while transporting goods between Montreal and Ottawa.
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo while following all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and logistics.
- Accurately complete all necessary transportation and customs documentation.
Compensation Details:
- Mileage Rate: $0.58 per mile
- Waiting Time:$26 per hour after 2 hours of waiting
- Live Unload Fee:$50 per unload
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1/A license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in long haul trucking.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety practices.
- Strong navigational skills and ability to use GPS.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Must be willing to undergo random drug testing.
