To provide knowledge, skills, dedication and customer focused support in one or possibly two areas of document imaging: prepping, scanning and data entry on day shift (hours 7:30am – 4:00 pm).
Job Description
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Prepare documents to be processed by opening, sorting, repairing and/or removing objects and organize as per
required specifications.
Scanning and re-scanning documents and review images to ensure information is accurately captured in accordance
with expected guidelines.
Scanning responsibilities include maintaining quality processing, correction of images if required and the ability to operate all aspects of the scanning software application.
Data Entry involves locating key data on images scanned and keying the required data according to customer specifications
Maintain accuracy standard of 95% or greater after training period in all three areas: document preparation, document imaging and data entry.
Adhere to all policies and procedures, including those related to Health and Safety, discrimination/harassment, the Personal Health Information Privacy and Access Act (PHIPAA), Ontario specific training regulations and company security guidelines.
- Must be able to perform the following successfully in all three areas of imaging:
- Adheres to all security policies and procedures
- Process documents timely and accurately according to job specification and their priority
- Consistently maintain set production quota while maintaining high quality
- Accurately record production in the company internal tracking system
- Report and process issues and project concerns in a timely manner
- Work with high speed scanning equipment
- Capable of identifying documents and associated information
- Fast and efficient data entry skills with ability to resolve incomplete and unclear information
- Perform daily general quality maintenance on scanning equipment as required.
- Adjusts to new ideas and methods and retains details very well
- Contributes to the entire operations process by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or equivale
Data entry experience an asset
- Ability to speak, understand and read English efficiently
- Ability,
willingness and desire to work day shift hours 7:30am – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday
- Experienced computer keyboard and data entry skills; ability to understand/learn various computer applications quickly
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment performing high volume, repetitive manual tasks requiring attention to detail and to meet all required standards consistently
- Ability to establish priorities with little to no supervision
- Must be deadline-oriented and results driven
- Must be a customer focused individual
- Ability to effectively communicate with others, both verbally and in writing
