The role requires analyzing business processes, understanding security protocols,
and aligning project deliverables with parliamentary and operational needs. This position is focused on improving resource management, decision-making processes, and ensuring the efficient operation of security measures.
Analyze PPS's operational processes and procedures, identifying gaps and recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and security effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal security teams, stakeholders, and management to gather and document business and security requirements for projects.
Map out current PPS processes, identifying inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities to streamline operations in the security environment.
Develop business cases, reports, and project documentation that support security and operational enhancements. This includes creating clear, detailed, and actionable project roadmaps.
Analyze data from security operations and PPS projects to provide insights and make recommendations for improving performance metrics and operational security.
Ensure that all proposed solutions align with security protocols,
compliance requirements, and organizational policies within the PPS.
Serve as a key point of contact between security teams, IT departments, and senior management to facilitate project success and organizational security goals.
Assist in implementing new systems or tools that enhance security operations and resource management across PPS, testing and validating solutions to ensure they meet the needs of the organization. Skill set info Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on security operations or governmental services.
Experience working within a security-sensitive environment, such as Parliamentary or government protective services.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in process improvement and security-related project management.
Familiarity with project management tools and business analysis frameworks.
Ability to translate security needs into actionable business requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex security operations. Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field. Certifications (if required) CCBA or CBAP or equivalent Documentation Required for submission Work Hours PPS anticipates that over 50% of the Work will be performed on-site at PPS' premises. The
remaining work could be performed off-site, at the Contractor's facility. The Contractor's
resource will be required to attend meetings on a regular and ongoing basis.
