Logistics Manager
Primary Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

Employee Status: Contract

Salary Range (Day): $635.00 - $720.00

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director,





Floatel Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Supervise and mentor the Logistics Coordinators to deliver extraordinary service to our clients and Bridgemans vessels.
- Partner with the Operations Manager with crew rotations and scheduling for Bridgemans vessels, ensuring that transportation logistics are organized efficiently and, in a cost-effective manner, and is communicated to team members.
- Ensure the Logistics Coordinators support the Project Administrator in facilitating onboarding and offboarding formalities for team members across the project, including documentation, site access requirements uniform issuance/collection, etc.
- Lead operations at the Richmond and Vancouver operations areas, coordinating with all stakeholders, ensuring that service and logistics is provided according to contract and to Bridgemans service standards.
- Maintain reports, logs and paperwork according to the Director,





Floatel Operations direction, performing periodic reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Identify potential problems, conflicts, and technical delays, presenting solutions for rectification.
- Support the Bridgemans Construction team by supervising and ensuring work is meeting provided quality and safety standards.
- The procurement and delivery of equipment and materials for Bridgemans vessels, acting as the primary contact for suppliers.
- Ensure all invoicing procedures and requirements are met and completed correctly including generating month-end PO for crew expenses, travel costs, etc. if any.
- Present construction project reports to the project team as required.
- Practice, maintain and ensure direct reports adhere to the highest level of health, safety,





environmental and quality practices, according to Bridgemans safety management system.
- Manage the reporting process with on-site subcontractors during construction phase.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations related to crew management, transportation and safety.
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Qualifications

- Minimum of seven years experience in project management (or similar role), two years of which in a supervisory/management capacity






- Valid British Columbia Driver’s License with clean drivers abstract
- Exceptional comprehension and command of the English language (written and verbal)
- Highly organized and able to work independently, with limited direct supervision
- Excellent management abilities, able to oversee and be accountable for Project Coordinators work
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks
- Excellent customer service experience
- Ability to foster and maintain positive interactions with fellow team members, clients and vendors
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint is an asset
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian marine industry an asset
- Marine and/or construction experience is an asset






- Valid STCW95 certification preferred (VI/1, 2 & 6)
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
