Inno Foods Group is a Global Food Production Facility in the high-end luxury snack industry.
We are looking for an Industrial Electrician.
SUMMARY
The Red Seal Certified Industrial Electrician must have essential and specialized expertise related to the installation and maintenance of electrical components and devices within industrial environments.
This professional is tasked with inspecting, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing various electrical equipment, including motors, generators, pumps, heavy-duty machinery, environmental control systems, and communication systems. Additionally,
responsibilities encompass working collaboratively with the maintenance team to fulfill work orders and adhere to a Preventive Maintenance Program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Promptly respond to production requests for electrical support to minimize downtime.
2. Identify faults in components, systems, and apparatus by employing testing tools and equipment.
3. Contribute input and implement a Preventive Maintenance program for regular equipment upkeep.
4. Reduce production downtime through preventive maintenance efforts.
5. Examine electrical components for any flaws, potential hazards, or the necessity for repair, ensuring adherence to established codes.
6. Construct, evaluate, and upkeep electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, equipment, and other related components.
7. Refer to blueprints or create outlines to establish the precise placement of equipment and wiring.
8. Create plans for the arrangement of electrical wiring and equipment installation, adhering to local codes and job specifications.
9. Conduct audits/assessments on production equipment to ensure compliance with operating standards.
10.
Uphold safety practices and actively participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance safety.
11. Communicate potential hazards to the maintenance manager and propose corrective solutions.
12. Collaborate with maintenance team members and provide necessary training to apprentices.
EXPERIENCE
1. Red Seal Certified Industrial Electrician.
2. Post-secondary education in electrical engineering or as an electrician.
3. Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility is an asset.
RELATED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
1. Proficient knowledge of PLCs and Servo drives.
2. Ability to write logic for Allan Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi.
3. Familiarity with SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices in the food industry is an asset.
4.
Assist with machine certifications.
5. Understanding of Health & Safety Regulations.
6. Capability to train others.
7. Effective prioritization skills under tight deadlines.
8. Self-directed and motivated team player.
9. Able to speak Korean.
