About the team
As a sales team we are at the forefront of building our customer experiences.
We introduce the customer to our products and work hard to find solutions that help them get off the phone and back to the work they are passionate about. A key component of this is understanding what information is needed most by our sales professionals.
This role will provide a detailed process analysis of the tools and techniques our sales teams are employing to best understand how we can equip them more effectively.
This role will include close collaboration with sales professionals to understand what their customers need, how they work, what information is needed to better serve our customers and potentially what tools and approaches are needed to further our understanding of our customers.
The role will focus primarily on a strategic review of sales processes in an effort to catalog, and streamline effective data insights and tool usage to better serve our customers.
We're looking for a candidate who is curious and tenacious to find critical answers to grow our business.
In some cases you will be supporting on-going projects working with other departments, and in others you will be given a project to lead with guidance from the Sales Group Manager.
Please note that we are a hybrid team, and the candidate is expected to be in the downtown Toronto office 2 to 3 times per week.
What you'll bring
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree or postgraduate program in a related field and be able to work full-time for 8 months, starting September.
Highly detail oriented and pays close attention to the specifics of problems, questions and projects.
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills; great attitude and go-getter spirit.
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated analytical experience, with the ability to develop and understand strategy.
Passion for storytelling with data to inform decisions.
Knowledge of research methodology, techniques and analysis is an asset.
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and relevant software applications is an asset.
Applied experience writing queries, scripts and stored procedures (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.) is an asset.
Experience with data visualization and reporting (e.g., Tableau,
Power BI) is an asset.
Ability to ask for help when needed, while taking steps to problem solve independently.

How you will lead
Work alongside the Sales Group Manager to provide any support required, while also working with cross-functional teams
Shadow sales professionals on calls and observe their approaches
Meet with stakeholders in sales ops, analytics, sales, marketing and strategy to gain a better understanding of serving our customers
Desk research to provide in-depth understanding of sales processes, market conditions, and opportunities
Present findings to stakeholders and in team meetings with the larger Sales organization for Quick
