Primary Responsibilities
Assemble, repair, rework and/or troubleshoot complex opto-mechanical lens assemblies
Maintenance of system file and tracking assembly documents
Ensure all tasks are completed to scheduled delivery date
Generate Non-Conformance Reports
Afternoon Shift work required
Desired Education and Experiences
Diploma in Mechanical technology or equivalent
Strong mechanical background
Familiarity with reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics
Thorough understanding of techniques in the use of hand tools, soldering, crimping and measurement equipment
Excellent manual dexterity






Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work within a team environment
1 - 2+ years' experience in a mechanical field
Previous experience working in an AS9100 environment an asset
Experience with Lean manufacturing an asset
Diploma in Mechanical technology or equivalent
