Our team is growing, and as a result we're looking for an Associate Materials Engineer to join our amazing group of professionals.
As part of the Materials Engineering Team in Dartmouth, NS, you will be responsible for driving forward our ambitious plans to enhance our service offerings in the province through your work with a close-knit team of engineering specialists, professionals, and technical staff.
This role requires the ability to apply technical knowledge to effectively solve problems and optimize project outcomes.

You'll be using your expertise to review and report technical results, write technical reports, and provide expertise and client deliverables on our projects;
You'll be coordinating and collaborating with our extensive technical materials engineering and pavement teams,
both in the field and laboratory
You'll be assisting with the coordination, management, and certification of our CCIL-certified laboratories
You'll be managing relationships with clients and ensuring that their needs are understood and met, providing your guidance and expertise;
University degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent education or experience
Construction industry experience considered an asset
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks
Licence to practice engineering, or ability to obtain licence in NS
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Proficiency in the MS Office suite of products
Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in teams and on your own
A willingness to do a variety of tasks and the ability to prioritize work according to importance and deadlines
