Job Description
As a member of our Human Resources team, you will join us supporting our exciting and growing business through key partnerships. The Human Resources Coordinator will provide support to Management and Associates in Ontario. The position will entail a strong focus on recruitment in addition to HR Administration and working on various HR project initiatives.
In this role you will:
- Monitor and action HR inbox within service level agreements and liaises with Payroll and HR internal partners as needed
- Provide support to the Regional HR Manager with handling employee/labour relations, roll-out of any HR programs/initiatives, ad-hoc reports, etc…
- Provide administrative support such as initiating any Associate changes into the HRIS such as new hires, promotions/transfers, leaves, wage adjustments, terminations and also liaising with payroll to ensure that changes are reflected accurately.
- Create internal offer letters, promotion letters and assist with HR Reporting and data analysis to support HRMs with decision making
- Support HR Manager in Labour Management meetings and other union specific tasks
- Collaborate closely with the broader HR team to ensure successful implementation of HR initiatives
- Identify opportunities and propose solutions for continuous improvement relating to HR initiatives, and helping to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes
- Remain up to date with changes in labor laws, employment regulations, and evolving trends within the HR industry
- Participate with the region’s Joint Health and Safety Committee
