Position Overview: As a Client Service Representative, you will be the face of our hospital, providing exceptional service to clients and their beloved pets.
Working alongside experienced veterinarians and a dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for both clients and patients.
Compensation:
$19-$25 pending skills assessment leveling
$2.50 Shift Premium: Weekdays from 5p – 8a
Weekends: Any hours worked between Fridays 5p – Mondays 8a
Schedule: Aiming for three 12-hour shifts
Overnight hours currently needed
Job Requirements and Responsibilities: Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
Previous experience as a receptionist in a veterinary emergency hospital setting preferred
Display compassion and patience toward clients
Interact positively in a team environment with members of the medical treatment team
Answer incoming phone calls from clients, veterinarians, and employees
Greet clients and pets upon arrival
Handle emergency situations efficiently and calmly
Present billing estimates to clients and collect payment for bills
Admit and discharge animal patients
Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their pet and/or wait time
Document phone conversations in the electronic system
Maintain and file patient records and complete all necessary paperwork
Enter patient information into the company electronic system
Maintain cleanliness of the facility including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
Other tasks assigned by supervisor
