The opportunity
You will play a pivotal role in driving organizational success.
Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough analysis of complex technical needs, documenting requirements, mapping intricate data and workflows, proactively managing change requests, and effectively bridging the gap between business and technology requirements within the Technology and Infrastructure (T&I;) division.
This role offers a remarkable opportunity to utilize your expertise in data analytics as a Business Analyst, making a profound impact on our organization's growth and overall success.
In close collaboration with the other members of the team and extended partners, you will: Conduct comprehensive analysis of technical needs and requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of the project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Document and articulate detailed requirements, capturing both functional and non-functional aspects.
Perform thorough data and workflow mapping, identifying critical touchpoints and dependencies to ensure seamless integration.
Participate in the design of best in class solutions using modern D&A; tools and technologies.
Promote D&A; architectural consistency and usability standards;
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technology teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams,
including fellow Developers, Scrum Teams, Business Analyst, and infrastructure specialists.
Engage in change management processes, proactively addressing and managing change requests to ensure smooth project execution.
Continuously assess and mitigate risks, proactively identifying potential obstacles and developing mitigation strategies.
Ambassador, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Take the lead in conducting quality assurance (QA) activities; define and execute test cases; and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, guiding users and ensuring thorough and effective testing.
Continuously assess technical debt, including bugs and deficiencies, to ensure their resolution.
With a sound mindset around operational budgets.
In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to actively engage in the development process.
This may include preparing integrations (API, Pipelines etc.).
In addition, your role will involve coordinating activities with the team and keeping the responsible manager informed of any risks and issues encountered.
Your attention to detail will be essential as you effectively articulate needs, problems and solutions.
Strong communication skills will be crucial in interacting with various stakeholders, utilizing technical terminology when engaging with the T&I; team and employing common terms when communicating with business partners.
This role offers the flexibility to be based in either Toronto or Montreal.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a College Diploma, or an equivalent qualification is required.
A minimum of five (5)
years of experience as a Business analysis is required.
Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis methodologies is required.
Proficiency with a cloud mindset is essential (AWS, Azure, Synapse Analytics, Fabric, Lakehouse, CoPilot)
Familiarity in SQL, Python, API
Familiarity SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) & SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Familiarity (Power Automate, Power APP, Power BI)
Familiarity ETL processes and workflows in (Informatica and Synapse Pipelines)
Familiarity in Cognos Analytics (On-Prem / Cloud)
Familiarity in TM1 / Planning Analytics (On-Prem / Cloud)
Knowledge of leading ERP & HCM Solutions & associated data models
Strong written and verbal communication,
interpersonal and customer satisfaction skills.
Strong ability to effectively lead and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Sharp analytical skills and a willingness to think outside the box to build solutions.
Demonstrated ingenuity in devising technical solutions tailored to clients' and projects' requirements.
Adaptable, forward-thinking, and energetic
Proficiency in working within a dynamic and collaborative environment, seamlessly collaborating with multiple teams, and embracing change and new processes.
Certification: Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or International Institute of
Business Analysis (IIBA) or Professional Business Analyst (PMI-PBA) a valuable asset
Bilingualism (proficiency in both spoken and written French and English) is considered an asset.
Agile mindset working in a Kanban environment.
