Position Overview

Under the direction of a Team Manager within the Home Care Program, the Scheduling Clerk, in collaboration with the Nursing Resource Coordinator and Resource Coordinator, assists in the maintenance of Direct Service Staff* schedules by entering data in to the Home Care scheduling system, assigning, scheduling and communicating with Direct Service Staff, clients and other Home Care Staff.

*Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Rehabilitation Assistant, Integrated Support Worker, Home Care Attendant, and Home Support Worker.

responsable de horaires aide à établir les horaires du personnel chargé de la prestation directe de services* en saisissant des données dans le système d’établissement des horaires des soins à domicile, en assignant des tâches, en établissant les horaires et en communiquant avec le personnel chargé de la prestation directe de services, les clients et d’autres employés responsable des soins à domicile.

*Infirmière ou infirmier autorisé, infirmière ou infirmier auxiliaire autorisé, assistant(e) en réadaptation, travailleur ou travailleuse de soutien intégré, préposé(e) en soins à domicile et travailleur ou travailleuse en soutien à domicile.

Experience

- 2 to 3 years related administrative experience.
- Minimum 6 months scheduling experience.
- Data entry experience required.
- Experience in Email and computerized calendars (GroupWise)





required.
- Experience in healthcare would be an asset.
- Experience with mail distribution, photocopying and faxing.
- Experience maintaining filing system.

Expérience







- 2 ou 3 années d’expérience dans un secteur administratif connexe.
- Minimum de 6 mois d’expérience dans l’établissement d’horaires.
- Expérience de la saisie de données exigée.
- Expérience en courrier électronique et calendriers informatisés (GroupWise) exigé.
- Expérience dans le domaine de la santé serait un atout.
- Expérience de la distribution du courrier, de la photocopie et de la transmission par télécopieur.
- Expérience de la tenue de systèmes de classement.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

- Completion of a high school or equivalent program of studies.

- Must be able to speak French at the predetermined linguistic level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Procura would be preferred.
- Keyboarding speed of 45 wpm required.
- Ability to maintain and compile statistics.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively contribute to a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks.

Qualifications et compétences

- Capacité manifeste de travailler dans un milieu où les activités se déroulent à un rythme rapide et de bon rendement dans un climat de tension afin d’exécuter le travail à échéance.
- Capacité d’effectuer les tâches qui lui sont assignées.
