We are looking for a "Senior Full Stack Developer- (JavaScript/Node.js)" on a multinational Fortune 500 project in Toronto, Canada. Shape innovative solutions and drive technological excellence. Responsibilities:
* Build high-quality, secure, and reliable code
* Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality, and operational needs
* Participate in code and solution design reviews
* Follow agile principles and participate in ceremonies to estimate, plan, design,
and collaborate with peer engineers to complete stories and meet sprint goals
* Work with team to troubleshoot code-level problems quickly and efficiently
* Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software
* Support production deployment, operations, and maintenance as part of the end-to-end platform ownership activities. Minimum qualifications:
* B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Extensive experience in delivering highly available, scalable cloud-based distributed systems in a production setting.
* Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript.
* Extensive experience with the AWS platform and offerings such as ECS, serverless lambdas, SQS, SNS, and Kinesis.
* Good working with databases (MySQL, DynamoDB) and optimizing queries.
* Excellent technical problem-solving skills and aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies.
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.
