Customer Service Representative — Remote
We are looking for two experienced professionals to join a client in the insurance industry. This fully remote position offers the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting customers with group disability claims and inquiries. It’s an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a collaborative and supportive team.
What is in it for you:
• Hourly salary of $21.00 to $23.43, based on experience.
• 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
• Fully remote – open to candidates across Canada.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
• Communicate effectively with plan members and sponsors in a calm, professional manner.
• Access and manage information from internal systems.
• Research and resolve inquiries within established timelines.
• Handle sensitive issues while ensuring the confidentiality of personal information.
• Provide technical support for online claim submissions, including password resets and troubleshooting with client systems.
What you will need to succeed:
• Post-secondary education is required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills; Bilingual fluency in English and French (spoken and written) to support clients in both languages (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
