Position Overview
As a Project Manager at Omista Credit Union, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing various projects that align with our strategic goals. You will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders will be essential in driving project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and member needs.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans,
including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project alignment and transparency.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform project decisions and optimize project outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project reports, documentation, and presentations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) is an asset.
- A dedicated and hardworking attitude,
with a strong commitment to achieving project goals and contributing to team success.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid remote work environment.
