Position Overview:
At this time, we are not actively hiring for Marketing Associate positions; however, we are eager to build a pool of talented candidates for future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Associate at the Royal Ontario Museum, you will play a vital role in promoting our exhibitions, programs, and initiatives. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
1. Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and the museum’s website. Ensure that all content aligns with the ROM’s brand voice and mission.
2. Campaign Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns aimed at increasing visitor engagement and attendance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
3. Market Research: Conduct research to identify trends, audience preferences,
and competitive analysis. Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and improve outreach efforts.
4. Event Promotion: Support the marketing of special events, exhibitions, and programs through targeted outreach and promotional activities. Work closely with event coordinators to ensure successful execution.
5. Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance the museum’s presence and impact. Participate in outreach initiatives that promote the museum’s mission and values.
6. Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns. Provide recommendations for improvement based on data-driven insights.
7. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments,
including education, curatorial, and visitor services, to ensure a unified approach to marketing efforts.
Qualifications:

- Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Experience: Relevant experience in marketing, communications, or a related field is an asset. We encourage candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply.
- Personality Traits: Resilience and passion are essential traits for success in this role. We seek individuals who are motivated, adaptable,
and eager to contribute to the museum’s mission.
- Soft Skills: Strong emotional intelligence and strategic planning abilities are crucial. Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
