Responsibilities:
As a Back End Developer at Saint Elizabeth, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of our applications. Your role will involve:
1. Developing and Maintaining Server-Side Logic: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
2. Database Management: Design and implement database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity and security.
3. API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the server and client applications,
ensuring efficient data exchange.
4. Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices. Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
6. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs in a timely manner to ensure optimal application performance.
7. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends,
and actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and traits:
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Experience: We welcome applications from candidates at all experience levels, from entry-level to senior developers. Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) are essential.
- Personality Traits:
