Screening and profile creation
In order to interact with families, all caregivers are required to have an active membership and complete our background check - CareCheck. If you’re using a web browser,





you’ll be prompted to download the Care.com app to complete your screening and enrollment.

After profile creation
Once you’ve submitted your profile, you can start applying for jobs immediately! As part of our commitment to safety, we carefully review each member’s profile to make sure it meets our guidelines. So after creating your service profile, it may take a few days for our team to review it before it’s visible on the platform, and during that time your applications will show a status of “pending.” They’ll be delivered as soon as your profile is approved.

You get to make the decisions
As Care.com offers you the possibility to be your own boss, you are the one in charge of your working hours, earnings, and tasks. This also means a lot of freedom and flexibility,





so that you can create a working schedule based on your personal needs.
