A career as a Senior Data Solutions Architect in the Business IT Delivery team at National Bank means participating in large-scale projects in transformation that will allow you to surpass yourself, while working closely with the Bank's various sectors. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your expertise in data modeling, concepts in Domain Driven Design (DDD), business APIs, cloud services, delivery of large enterprise solutions or by your solid knowledge of business processes and your excellent communication and influence skills.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs (functional and non-functional) with the goal of designing data architecture (conceptual, logical, and physical) and quality end-to-end technical solutions aligned with business and architecture objectives.
- Technology Expertise in Integration: Evaluate and recommend appropriate emerging technologies, platforms, and tools for each project and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
- Integration Pattern: Identify the most appropriate integration patterns, such as APIs, streaming, MSA, containerization/serverless that allow scalability, maintainability, and are decoupled, secure, and at a lower cost.
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD): Apply DDD principles to solve complex problems while delivering a composable and iterative architecture.
- Data Management: Participate in the identification of data, catalog, quality, traceability, and documentation of data.
- Cloud Expertise:
Produce cloud-native or hybrid solutions by offering the most appropriate AWS cloud services for the context of the project such as Serverless and containers.
- Security and Risk Management Expertise: Develop and implement robust security measures to protect data, applications, and systems and ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulations.
- Leadership and Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, presenting and explaining technical solutions while leading and mentoring a team of developers throughout the project lifecycle.

you are part of the team of solution architects and report to the senior director of this team. This same team actively participates in the design of innovative and efficient solutions to improve our customers' experience. Our team stands out for its extensive and in-depth expertise in several technological and business areas and its coverage of aspects related to applications, data, and infrastructure.

Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology completed, and ten years of relevant experience or Master's degree in Information Technology, and eight years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a solutions/data architect, with a focus on large-scale, complex solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of the following technologies/tools: DDD (Domain Driven Design), ODS (Operational data store), OpenAPI and AsyncAPI standard, Power Designer modeling, Collibra business catalog.
- In-depth knowledge of software design and development.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services, such as EKS and Serverless, as well as structured and unstructured databases, such as RDS, Dynamo DB, and S3.
- Proficiency in the concepts, technologies, and solutions of a modern ecosystem, including composable architecture, microservices, APIs, event architecture, orchestration, security, and cloud services.
- Excellent communication and influence skills.
- Strong ability to synthesize, analyze, and popularize.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- AWS Solution Architect Associate and/or Professional certification is an asset.
