What You'll Do

The Supply Chain Solutions Student will be a member of the Sourcing & Handling Optimization team within the Supply Chain Integration department. The team works with Merchandising throughout the year to profitably grow top line sales by reducing Supply Chain costs and drive POS focusing on the largest opportunities within both new and existing programs. The team conducts fact based analytics to gain insights and drive recommendations and solutions

- Efficiently manage the team inbox to ensure analysts are assigned to the appropriate tasks in a timely fashion
- Monitor and problem solve packaging discrepancies between various CTC systems
- Support the team's EUCs by updating, maintaining and making improvements to the tools
- Provide Supply Chain targets,





analyze supplier responses and made recommendations to optimize sourcing decisions during Line Review
- Participate in a number of strategic and tactical efforts related to Line Reviews; working with Category Business Managers and other Supply Chain teams
- Identify opportunities and recommend packaging and/or handling changes that will increase supply chain productivity, cost reduction and/or damage reduction through improved material handling and replenishment
- Support vendor compliance with Shipment Quality Standards outlined in CTC's vendor guide

What You Bring

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related discipline
- Strong Technical skills including working knowledge of Access, Excel and Word
- Proficiency with Power BI an asset






- Previous retail or supply chain experience an asset
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work with extremely detailed information; attention to detail is a must
