Your Mission:

- Innovate and Inspire: Design and implement cutting-edge professional learning and corporate training programs that set new standards in education.
- Strategize and Optimize: Lead enrolment and resource planning, ensuring we have the best instructors and curriculum that deliver exceptional learning experiences.






- Develop and Deliver: Create impactful programs, corporate/contract training, and professional learning curricula that drive success and growth.

Your Impact:

- Academic Leadership: Provide student-centric academic leadership and management to part-time instructors, coordinators, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Trendsetting: Stay ahead of emerging trends to ensure our programs are relevant and forward-thinking.
- Comprehensive Planning: Oversee the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of all continuing and professional learning academic programming, including workshops, seminars, and corporate training.

What You’ll Be Doing







- Strategic and management accountability for delivery of continuing and professional learning program portfolio;
- Establishing a curriculum and programming strategy that builds upon existing programming and delivers a future-focused orientation towards new programming that meets what the market, professional learning, and industry require for training, upskilling, and learning;
- Ensuring effective recruitment, hiring, and use of human resources, as well as physical, and financial resources that contribute to a revenue generation through team-wide student recruitment and analyzing enrolment data and to make “go/no-go” programming decisions;
- Developing and implementing unique systems (student success, enrolment, prospecting, retention, and budgets)





for the portfolio while participating in financial planning, budget development and monitoring revenue targets and expenses;
- Developing new courses, programs, and educational delivery strategies that align with technology, market, and economic changes while ensuring quality, financial stability, and program diversity;
- Differentiating Sheridan from other institutions and competitors and achieving and maintaining the highest standards of academic quality;
- Chairing an institutional curriculum quality and review committee for micro-credentials, non-credit/credit continuing education programming, professional learning, corporate training, badge-based programs, and other curriculum as required;
- Working collaboratively with Sheridan academic faculties on a range of projects and programming;






- Collaborating with colleagues in marketing, communications, office of the registrar, information technologies, and academic departments to harmonize programing, align marketing and enrolment strategies, while achieving Sheridan’s strategic objectives;
- Providing service and support to academic faculties who can leverage the systems, procedures, and approaches of the department to deliver their curriculum to open enrollment, professional learning, industry and contract partners;
- Leading and participating in internal and external committees while maintaining expertise and relevancy in the continuing and professional learning sector;
- Engaging in other projects and initiatives as needed.

You have excellent collaboration and presentation skills with an ability to understand the training and educational needs of learners, employers, and community partner and tailor customized solutions to meet their needs.

You are a highly organized,





self-directed and forward-thinking individual with an ability to coordinate multiple and diverse activities.

The successful candidate will also meet the following qualifications:

- Master's degree in Business, Education or related discipline is required; an MBA, MEd, MSC or other Master’s level as related to program cluster is preferred
- 7 years of experience related to education, training, and/or professional development
- Knowledge of the post-secondary and corporate training market as well as adult education
- A sound understanding of the challenges, emerging trends and issues in post-secondary education
- Progressive leadership experience
- Knowledge of, and experience in, the following areas is preferred:
- Curriculum development
- Teaching and learning for adults or working professionals






- Innovative modes of teaching and learning
- Business administration and management
