Your Opportunity
BDO Canada's People Advisory group is looking for a Senior HR Consultant to join our growing practice. The successful candidate will be working hybrid (2-3 days) out of any of our offices across Canada and will be responsible for:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide expert guidance on HR issues such as policy development, performance management, employee relations, compensation benchmarking, and compliance with ESA and the Canada Labour Code
- Conduct workplace harassment and violence investigations
- Develop and deliver training programs and HR communications materials
- Create high-quality presentations and reports, leveraging technology for impactful delivery
- Stay current on industry trends and continuously enhance technical and professional knowledge

Your experience and education
- Diploma or post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field; Chartered designation is a strong asset
- Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering comprehensive HR services
- Certified in Workplace Harassment and Violence Investigations
- Proven ability to work independently, with strong judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
