Our client is seeking a Senior Change Manager to lead the technology transformation for colleges and institutes for the implementation of a new Student Information System (SIS).
Must Have:
- 7+ years of experience in Change Management, leading technology transformation projects.
- Familiarity with Student Information Systems
- Certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI) or Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP).
- Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience developing and executing change management strategies, including risk mitigation and stakeholder impact assessments.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with the Government of Saskatchewan or similar governmental bodies.
- Experience with large-scale ERP system implementations.
Description: The selected candidate will provide both Change Management and Business Analyst services to support the implementation of the Thesis Elements SIS across several regional colleges and Dumont Technical Institute (DTI). This position requires a strategic approach to managing change and hands-on experience with business process improvements, ensuring alignment between the project’s goals and the needs of the various institutions involved.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the client in project meetings, including Project Team, Schedule, Working Committee, Vendor Workshops, and Steering Committee meetings.
- Develop and implement change management strategies that focus on business readiness and the stakeholder experience.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on students, employees, and operations, and devise mitigation strategies for potential resistance.
- Lead training initiatives,
working closely with Business SMEs to develop and roll out effective training programs.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, documenting current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business processes.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure project deliverables align with business goals.
- Collaborate with the vendor and colleges to manage the transition from project implementation to operations.
- Work with the Ministry of Advanced Education and other government resources as necessary.
