As a Land Report Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated and professional team working to provide administrative support for all real estate transactions for the City. Primary duties include:
- Prepare and compile land reports and land authorization forms with supporting documents.
- Provide meeting administration for the Valuation Review Committee (VRC), and the Management Real Estate Review Committee (MRER) by scheduling meetings, creating meeting agendas and packages, and transcribing meeting minutes.
- Create and compile accurate reporting summaries of transactions in accordance with the Real Property Bylaw.
- Prepare and track rectification documents for additions, deletions or amendments for real estate transactions.
- Create and maintain real estate transaction documentation within the business unit's database.
Qualifications
- A completed 1-year certificate in Administration or a related field and at least 5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a senior administrative role; OR
- A completed 2-year diploma in Administration a related field and at least 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a senior administrative role.
- Intermediate proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams) is required.
- The ability to read, interpret and apply the Real Property Bylaw is required,
along with the ability to read, proofread and interpret legal and real estate documents (For example: land reports, land authorization forms, rectification forms).
- The ability to read and interpret site maps and prior experience with maintaining a document database is also required.
- Success in this position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to build collaborative working relationships, and the ability to complete tasks in a political environment where high quality output and confidentiality are critical.

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
