Position: Quality Assurance Lead - Consumer Products Location: Saint-Laurent, on site Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 + full benefits Shift: Monday to Friday, day shift, flexible hoursOur client is seeking a highly skilled invididual in Quality Assurance to lead their quality control team and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within consumer products or a related industry. If you have a strong background in quality management and can support large-scale retail operations, we encourage you to apply.As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance strategies that meet industry standards and best practices.





You will oversee a team of quality control professionals, manage quality processes, and ensure that all products consistently meet the required standards for consumer goods.Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement quality assurance policies and procedures, maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure consistent quality- Execute quality control tests, inspections, and audits, collaborating with production and operations to address quality issues and implement corrective actions- Manage and mentor a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations- Monitor quality performance indicators and lead corrective and preventive actions to continuously improve product quality- Facilitate quality improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean- Ensure compliance with industry standards and prepare for internal and external audits- Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality requirements and conduct audits to ensure adherence to those standardsQualifications:- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a production or manufacturing environment - Experience in QA / QC within production for retail consumer products is considered an important requirement - Good communication skills to support private label products working with key accounts - Some experience or aptitude for leadership - Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions- Education in a relevant field is considered an asset although experience will be taking into accountPlease send your resume in Word format to Jill Kalakay at [email protected] A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
