About Us:
Ottawa Health: Performance and Rehabilitation is multi-disciplinary healthcare composed of Nurse Practitioners, Chiropractors, and Physiotherapists. We focus on injury rehabilitation and private medical services.
Job Description:
We are looking for a driven individual to join our growing business. The successful candidate has experience with customer service and administration as well as attention to detail and great articulation skills over the phone and in person. This opportunity is intended to progress towards an assistant managerial position.
Responsibilities
- Booking appointments, registering patients, collecting payments and following up with patients
- Greeting patients as they enter the clinic prior to their appointment
- Providing administrative support such as receiving and sending faxes, responding to correspondence, completing motor accident paperwork
- Following up with patients once follow up appointments are needed
- Regular janitorial tasks such as disinfecting, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy and professional work environment
- Answering clinic inquiries and promotion of our services
- Must be available on Saturdays for a short 4 hour shift
Skills and experience
- Must be fluent in English
- Spanish speaking is an asset but not necessary
- Experience working with Jane EMR is an asset but not necessary
- Experience with Acurro EMR is an asset but not necessary
- Experience working in a healthcare facility or in clerical tasks and customer service
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems
- Proficient in Microsoft office, outlook, and Gmail
- Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute
- Ability to multitask
