Position Overview:
As a Marketing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing initiatives and strategies. This position is designed for candidates at various experience levels, from entry-level to senior-level professionals. Your contributions will help enhance our brand visibility, engage our community, and promote the services and programs offered by the Government of Nunavut.

Key Responsibilities:

- Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Content Creation: Produce engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitive analysis,





providing insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Project Management: Oversee marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and the public to promote our initiatives and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, utilizing data to make informed decisions and optimize future efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including communications, public relations, and event planning, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.
- Event Coordination:





Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, workshops, and community outreach programs to enhance brand presence and engagement.

Qualifications:

- Education: A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Experience: We welcome applications from candidates with varying levels of experience, from entry-level to senior-level professionals. Relevant experience in marketing, communications, or project management is an asset.
- Personality Traits: We are looking for individuals who are resourceful and resilient, able to adapt to changing circumstances and find creative solutions to challenges.
- Soft Skills: Strong innovation and project management skills are essential.





Candidates should demonstrate the ability to think outside the box and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics software is a plus. Familiarity with graphic design software is also advantageous.
