Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their automotive needs are met efficiently. This role requires a blend of customer service skills, mechanical knowledge,
and sales ability to enhance the overall customer experience while driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive at the service department.
- Assess customer needs by listening carefully and asking relevant questions regarding vehicle issues.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services, ensuring transparency in pricing and timelines.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition while maintaining trust and integrity.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and communicate updates to customers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper documentation of all payments received.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area, promoting a welcoming environment for customers.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is essential to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Experience in upselling products or services is a plus point , demonstrating an understanding of sales techniques within the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is required, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
