McEwan Don Mills is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for the following positions: Produce Associate, Bakery Associate, Deli & Cheese Associate, and Cashier. If you thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere and love engaging with customers, we want to hear from you!
1. Produce Associate
Responsibilities:
- Cut fruits and vegetables as per the required standards and specifications.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of all produce items on display.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the produce department.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
- Implement proper handling and storage techniques to minimize waste.
2. Bakery Associate
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers by providing product knowledge and recommendations.
- Ensure the bakery area is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Monitor product freshness and rotate stock to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing displays.
Place orders, update invoices and engage in procurement related tasks
3. Deli & Cheese Associate
Responsibilities:
- Slice, package, and display deli meats and cheeses to customer specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and offering samples.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli and cheese counter.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and procedures.
- Prepare custom made sandwiches
4. Cashier
Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide a friendly and welcoming environment for customers.
- Assist with bagging groceries and ensuring a pleasant checkout experience.
- Handle cash and electronic payments securely and responsibly.
- Resolve customer inquiries or issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a grocery store or customer service role is a must.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
