Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative/ Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our Operations, Health & Safety and Finance departments, by ensuring efficient workflow,





and providing exceptional employee and customer support. This position requires strong clerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Answer incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of basic AP/AR tasks
- Document vacation, sick days and time off in the attendance tracking spreadsheet
- Provide clerical support including filing, scanning, posting and organizing documents.
- Monitor and track company fleet GPS infractions
- Develop a solid understanding for remittances, HST, wsib, benefit calculations, and all core finance tasks
- Complete payroll as per schedule
- Reconcile timesheets
- Complete ROE’s as required
- Assist with follow up on late payments
- Matching packing slips to invoices
- Posting incoming invoices






- Maintain a clean and organized office environment to promote productivity.
- Complete project start up documents such as NOP's, etc.
- Support and work effectively with both Office and Site staff as required
- various other admin tasks as required

Experience

- Experience with Microsoft Office products is required
- Experience with AP, payroll and basic finance tasks are required to be successful in this role
- Knowledge of Sage Simply Accounting is considered an asset
- Familiarity with data entry processes and attention to detail is required
- 3 years in a similar role

- Most posses the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest levels of discretion

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 42 per week
