Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities:
- Pet Care Expertise:
Share your knowledge to help pet parents make informed decisions for their pets’ health and happiness.
- Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships.
- Team Support: Assist in store operations including inventory, merchandising, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in regular training to stay informed.
- Community Representation: Represent Global Pet Foods at local events.
- Mentorship: Help train and mentor new team members.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: At least 1 year in retail is required.
- Customer Experience: Ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Pet Care Interest: Genuine interest in animal well-being, with personal or volunteer experience a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40lbs, use ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal,
problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Cash Handling: Experience managing transactions.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Transportation: Reliable means of getting to and from work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers, POS systems, email, and spreadsheets.
- Merchandising Skills a strong asset
