Position Overview:
As a Public Relations Associate at Toronto Global, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our public image and fostering positive relationships with various stakeholders. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from crafting compelling narratives to engaging with media representatives. We are looking for candidates at all levels of experience, from entry-level to senior professionals, who are passionate about public relations and eager to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to promote Toronto Global’s initiatives and objectives.
- Create and distribute press releases, media kits,
and other promotional materials to enhance our visibility and reputation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and other key stakeholders in the industry.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment regarding Toronto Global and its activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in organizing and executing events, press conferences, and promotional activities to engage the community and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the public relations landscape.
- Support crisis communication efforts by preparing timely and accurate responses to media inquiries.
- Contribute to the development of social media content and strategies to enhance our online presence and engagement.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Proven experience in public relations, communications, or a related field is an asset, with a range of experience from entry-level to senior roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.
- Confidence in engaging with media representatives and stakeholders, demonstrating a proactive approach to relationship-building.
- A dedicated and results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent cooperation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication strategies is a plus.
