Position Overview:
As a Back End Developer at Synergy Franchising, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize back-end systems that support our business objectives. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, helping us to deliver exceptional services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient back-end systems and APIs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our systems.
- Assist in the strategic planning of software development projects and timelines.
- Engage in negotiation processes with stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Back End Developer or similar role, with a focus on server-side logic and database management. We welcome candidates from entry-level to senior-level experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, or Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Driven and reliable personality, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to think critically and develop effective solutions.
