Job Overview:
As a Software Engineer at DLS Technology Corporation, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. We are looking for candidates at all levels of experience, from entry-level to senior-level engineers, who are eager to contribute their skills and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software projects.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications that align with industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our software solutions.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and system architecture diagrams.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Engage in research and development activities to explore innovative solutions and enhance existing products.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met.
- Negotiate project requirements and timelines with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Driven and adaptable personality, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Excellent research skills to identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid remote work environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
