About the Role:
As a Back End Developer at Myhealth Centre,
you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and application programming interfaces (APIs) that power our healthcare solutions. You will work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our applications. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our services, ultimately enhancing the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable back-end systems and APIs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our systems and processes.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation and user manuals.
- Work collaboratively in an agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Back End Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java).
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data modeling.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
