About the Role:
As an Operations Associate at Pro Max Trucking Ltd.,
you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics and transportation services. Your responsibilities will vary based on your level of experience, but the core functions will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Assist in the daily operations of the logistics department, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This includes coordinating shipments, managing schedules, and tracking deliveries.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other operational data. Utilize software tools to input, analyze, and report on key metrics.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients and vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members across various departments, including sales, customer service, and warehouse operations, to facilitate seamless communication and cooperation.
- Strategic Planning:
Participate in the development and implementation of operational strategies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Contribute ideas for process improvements and best practices.
- Problem Solving: Identify operational challenges and propose solutions to enhance productivity and service quality. Engage in proactive troubleshooting to mitigate potential issues.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact operations.
- Training and Development: Assist in onboarding new team members and provide ongoing support and training to enhance team performance.
