Job Description:
While we are not currently hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist positions,





we recognize the importance of building a robust talent pipeline for our future hiring plans. We invite you to submit your CV for consideration as we prepare for upcoming opportunities. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to join our organization. Your expertise will help us create a diverse and skilled workforce that aligns with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

- Talent Sourcing: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events, to identify potential candidates for current and future openings.
- Candidate Screening: Review resumes and applications to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for the organization.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and conduct interviews with candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaboration:





Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to each position.
- Employer Branding: Promote the Saskatchewan Abilities Council as an employer of choice by showcasing our values, culture, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment metrics to track the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and improve future hiring processes.
- Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed in their roles.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to enhance our recruitment strategies and processes.

Requirements:

- Experience:





We welcome applications from candidates at all experience levels, from entry-level to senior-level professionals. Previous experience in talent acquisition or human resources is an asset but not mandatory.
- Education: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Personality Traits: We are looking for hardworking and confident individuals who are passionate about connecting people with opportunities and making a positive impact in the community.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for effectively collaborating with team members and engaging with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS)





and other recruitment tools is a plus. Familiarity with social media platforms for recruitment purposes is also beneficial.
