- Assistant Manager Boathouse Permanent

Hours Per Week: 40

Type of Work: 0-2 years experience required

The Assistant Manager at Boathouse plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. This position requires a dynamic leader who can motivate the team, drive sales, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership and Team Management: - Assist in recruiting, training, and developing store staff.





- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to employees to enhance their performance. - Foster a positive and inclusive work environment. 2. Sales and Customer Service: - Drive sales through effective customer service and product knowledge. - Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner. - Monitor and analyze sales performance, implementing strategies to meet or exceed targets. 3. Store Operations: - Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. - Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. - Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards. 4. Inventory Management: - Assist in managing inventory levels, including receiving and processing shipments. - Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. - Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage. 5. Administrative Duties: - Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports and records. - Assist in managing payroll. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Qualifications:





- Previous retail management experience is preferred. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. - Excellent communication and organizational abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. - Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
