Travel Requirement: Hours (subject to change): 37.5 hours per week. Due to the nature of the position, additional hours may be required.
Temporary Full-Time assignment for approximately 18-24 months.
Sinai Health is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support our SAP Modernization Project at our Mount Sinai Hospital Campus.
The Project Manager is responsible for guiding the Sinai Health team through the SAP Modernization Project in partnership with the system integration partner.
The Project Manager is expected to report to the Senior Director, Finance and manage all aspects of the SAP Modernization Project. The Project Manager is responsible for proactively working with stakeholder groups across Sinai Health to obtain their buy-in and support, requiring collaboration and engagement with external stakeholders as well as Sinai Health clinical, operational and administrative teams.
In this role you will:
Define tasks, timelines and project deliverables in collaboration with the integration partner.
Ensure resources required for each stream of the project are complete, current, and stored appropriately and maintain accurate records of any identified/hired backfills as required.
Maintain documents and validate business process changes including impact to Sinai Health.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
Develop hospital specific training and change management materials in collaboration with integration partner.
Ensure all training documentation is complete and available on hospital specific storage platform, execute training in collaboration with integration partner.
Ensure Sinai Health is prepared for cutover, manage the cut-over process and post go-live support.
Escalate any issues or risks throughout all phases, as necessary.
Job Requirements:
Successful completion of a university degree or college Diploma in a related field (e.g. Commerce, Business Administration, Health Administration, etc.) from an accredited educational institution.
Current certification in Project Management; preferably a PMP designation.
Five (5) years of progressively responsible project management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proven experience in leading projects or teams, with demonstrated skills in using project management methodology, applying methods and standards, estimating and tracking time and efforts, allocating and deploying resources.
Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of SAP (ECC, SRM, Ariba, S4/HANA) configuration, implementation, and support; and SAP integration with other systems and applications.
Proven ability to build interpersonal relationships; professional, diplomatic and confident in collaborating with individuals at all organizational levels and with external stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to clearly define and articulate requirements, priorities, impacts, and solutions.
Adaptable and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking, and dynamic environment.
Superior organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and shifting priorities while maintaining high accuracy and customer service.
Demonstrated history of satisfactory work performance and attendance records.
