We are looking for candidates with experience in Brake Press(Shear) for one of our clients in Concord, ON, Canada.
Join our team as a Press Brake Operator at our dynamic manufacturing facility. As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process by operating and maintaining press brake machinery to produce high-quality metal components.
Responsibilities:
-Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal plates according to precise specifications.-Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the correct settings for the press brake.-Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as needed.-Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency.-Perform routine maintenance on press brake machinery to ensure smooth operations.-Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a secure working environment
Skills:
-Proficiency in operating press brake machinery.-Able to read drawings and blueprints.-Ability to understand and perform basic programming for press brake machines.-Experience with CNC machines is advantageous.-Strong grasp of basic math concepts for measurements and calculations-Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are desirable.-Strong communication. skills in English.
