INTERMEDIATE /SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST- TECHNOLOGUE INTERMÉDIAIRE / SÉNIOR EN ARCHITECTURE

RESPONSABILITIES

French follows

Reporting to the associate architect and as a member of a collaborative team based in Montreal, the intermediate or senior architectural technologist primarily works on residential and commercial projects, but may also be called upon to work on projects in other sectors (institutional, industrial, educational, etc.).

In addition to these responsibilities, the technologist undertakes the following key tasks:

• Assembly and structure of plan sets;

• Construction detailing;

• Possibility of site supervision if interested;

While not mandatory, the following skills will be considered assets:

• Analyzing shop drawings;

• Coordinating with other disciplines;







• Ability to prepare an architectural estimate;

Relevant de l'architecte associé et membre d'une équipe collaborative située à Montréal, le.la technologue intermédiaire ou sénior en architecture œuvre principalement sur des projets résidentiels et commerciaux, mais pourra aussi être appelé.e à travailler sur des projets liés à d’autres secteurs d’activités (institutionnelles, industrielles, scolaires, etc.).

Sans se limiter à ces responsabilités, le.la technologue prend en charge les principales tâches suivantes :

• Montage et structure des sets de plans;

• Détails de construction;

• Possibilité d’effectuer la surveillance de chantier si intérêt;

• Analyser des dessins d’atelier;

QUALIFICATIONS

French follows

• College Diploma (DEC) in Architecture;

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience;

• Knowledge of materials;

• Familiarity with building codes and regulations;

• Strong technical knowledge;

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), AutoCAD, and Photoshop;

• Experience in high-rise projects;

• Familiarity with Revit software;

• 5 à 10 ans d'expérience pertinente;

• Connaissance des matériaux;







• Connaissance du code de construction et règlements en vigueur;

• Solides connaissances techniques;

• Capacité à utiliser le logiciel Office (World et Excel), le logiciel AutoCAD ainsi que Photoshop;

• Expérience dans les projets de grande hauteur;

• La connaissance de logiciel Revit;
