High Tech Genesis is seeking an experienced engineer to maintain and operate our OpenStack infrastructure. A strong background in OpenStack is highly desirable, along with solid experience in Linux operations, particularly in networking.
Proficiency in Python and shell scripting is important, and on-call experience is a valuable asset. If you're passionate about infrastructure and automation, we'd love to hear from you.
- 3+ years of industry experience in infrastructure, virtualization, or cloud engineering
- 1+ years of experience working with a public cloud such as GCP
- 1+ years of experience working with Docker
- 1+ years of experience working with CI / CD or DevOps systems
- Management and operations of the OpenStack platform
- Knowledge in Design, implementation and operation of distributed software
- Experience with Infrastructure Management Tools such as Intersight and UCS Manager
- Experience in Infrastructure or service operations at scale
- Experience with Network administration
- Knowledge of Linux administration (especially Linux networking)
- Experience with REST
- Experience in Virtualization technologies
- Experience in Containerization technologies e.g. Docker
- Experience in Python
- Experience in Ansible
- Experience in Terraform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
