Job Description
We currently have exciting opportunities within our Pulp & Paper Division operations for Civil Engineering Students to join our team in Saint John, New Brunswick, for the Winter 2025 Work Term.
Responsibilities
What You Can Expect from your Work Term:
You will get a hands-on work term working in our state-of-the-art facilities alongside our world-class professionals.
Tasks may include:
Project concept development and preliminary design assignments.
- Assignments related to the development of project funding applications, justifications.
- Participation in the management of construction contracts and the requisitioning of materials and services
- Project construction, commissioning,
and start-up support activities.
- Working with contractors and mill personnel to determine scope, planning, and execution of work packages for mill projects.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering and in good academic standing
- Team player with a safety-first mindset
- Ability to effectively time manage multiple projects.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Long-term interest in an engineering career
