Position Title: First Team Equipment Manager
Location: Vancouver, BC
Terms: Full-time, Permanent
Reports to: Manager, Football Operations & Administration
Salary range: CAD $48,000 - $55,000 annual salary
The Northern Super League (NSL) is a new Canadian professional women’s soccer league, which currently consists of six clubs and is set to kick off in spring of 2025. In addition to Vancouver, there are clubs in Halifax, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Ottawa.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the newly founded, Vancouver Rise FC in the position of First Team Equipment Manager.
The First Team Equipment Manager is responsible for managing all equipment and apparel requirements for the Vancouver Rise FC team, including training days, match days, team travel duties, and overall inventory management.
Role Responsibilities:
Apparel and Equipment Management
- Manage the ordering, distribution and inventory control of all equipment and apparel for the Rise FC First Team players and staff.
- Ensure all training/match/travel kit has appropriate league patches, sponsor patches, lettering, and numbering as per club guidelines and policy.
- Coordinate equipment and apparel requests for team events and special projects.
- Ensure that all uniforms and related apparel/equipment are maintained in a clean and serviceable condition.
- Establish, maintain, and reconcile all team equipment (kit/field) inventories, and assist with the maintenance of all inventory records for the Club.
Training and Match Days
- Ensure that all training kit and towels are laundered daily
- All training equipment is inspected routinely, and meets specific league and team standards
- Transportation of medical staff equipment
- Delivery and organization of training equipment
- Lead the post-training clean up: team bench area, change rooms, towels, equipment, water, ice, etc.
- Be familiar with all league match day requirements and ensure that all league rules, policies, and standards are strictly adhered to
- Execute the match day setup for all home games.
Team Travel
- Travel, as required, for away matches or competitions that may be scheduled
- Complete all training and match day responsibilities while on the road; including laundry, equipment transportation, management and organization
Qualifications/Experience:
In addition to bringing a commitment to Vancouver Rise FC vision and values, the ideal candidate will require degrees of demonstrated experience as follows:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be flexible to work long hours, including evenings and/or weekends.
- Must be flexible and willing to travel to away trips and events.
- Must possess a passport and be able to freely travel internationally
- Must be able to lift upwards of 50lbs
- Experience in a High-Performance Sports environment
- A clean, full and valid BC driver’s license
- Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check and additional background screening

- Must, at all times, display the character and values of the Vancouver NSL team
Desirable:
- Additional languages (Spanish, French, etc.) is an asset
- Knowledge and passion for soccer
